MADISON, Wis. — The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources is seeking public input as it drafts a strategic plan for managing the state’s wildlife species and habitat.
This plan will help direct the DNR’s Wildlife Management Program in determining priorities to make the most efficient use of staff time, materials and limited financial resources
For more information on the strategic planning process or to offer input, go to https://dnr.wisconsin.gov/topic/WildlifeHabitat/WMStrategicPlan.
The webpage explains the planning process, contains a link to the input form and allows individuals to stay engaged in the planning process by signing up to receive updates. The DNR has collected feedback from staff and is now consulting partner groups.
The input form may take about 10 minutes to complete. Participation is voluntary, and all responses are anonymous.
For input to be considered, submissions must be completed by Friday, Feb. 28.
