Goodman-Armstrong Creek Lions Club awards predator hunt prizes

Rubicon, Wis., coyote callers Roger Fischer and Charlie Sellinger took first place in calling.

GOODMAN, Wis. — Two trapping teams and three calling teams collected a total of 59 predators during the Goodman-Armstrong Creek Lions Club’s predator hunt.

The event took place earlier this month in conjunction with a meat raffle at Rocque’s 8-Hi Club in Goodman, where 325 pounds of meat and 11 guns were won.

In the predator hunt, teams from across the state competed for cash prizes. Predator hunts in Wisconsin are conducted to manage predator populations and reduce competition for prey.

The funds raised by the GAC Lions Club are used for a variety of humanitarian and community projects.

Starting at $2.99/week.
