Predator Quest begins Feb. 2

Cash prizes totaling $2,800 for hunters, trappers

Registration for the 2018 Dickinson County Predator Quest will take place from noon to 8 p.m. Feb. 2 at Solberg’s Bar in Felch. FELCH — The 2018 Dickinson County Predator Quest will take place Friday, Feb. 2, through Sunday, Feb. 11.

Hosted by Solberg’s Bar & Supper Club in Felch, it offers two divisions — hunting and trapping — and cash prizes totaling $2,800. First place in each division is $600.

Winners will be determined by total points: bobcat, 30 points; coyote, 25 points; fox, 20 points.

Registration will be noon to 8 p.m. Feb. 2 at Solberg’s in Felch.

Hunter check-in is 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Feb. 11 at the Felch Community Center. Dinner and prizes will follow at Solberg’s.

Donating organizations include Sorny’s Crane Service, U.P. Whitetails of Dickinson County, Wildlife Unlimited of Dickinson County; Eastern Dickinson County Sportsman’s Club; United Sportsmen Inc.; and U.P. Trappers District 3.
