HOUGHTON — Aubrie Moore cashed in two goals, while Ingrid Holt and Onika Smeester added one each to lift Kingsford to a 4-2 victory over Houghton on a cold, wet Monday in Houghton.

Moore scored off a corner kick that deflected off a Gremlin player and added another off an indirect kick from Holt.

Holt and Smeester continued to be a dangerous combination as Holt tallied her goal off an assist from Smeester and Smeester scored off a Holt helper.

Kingsford coach Jenette Gunville said her team increased its intensity early on.

“We started slow, but sped up quickly,” she said.
