Jamie Angeli’s Basketball Camp of Champs to return this summer
IRON MOUNTAIN — Jamie Angeli, a 2025 Upper Peninsula Sports Hall of Fame inductee, will bring his Basketball Camp of Champs to Niagara High School and Iron Mountain Middle School this summer.
The camp promises to elevate players’ skills while fostering teamwork in a fun and engaging environment. The boys/girls grades 9-12 camp will be at Iron Mountain Middle School on July 18-20.
The boys/girls grades 3-8 camp will be at Niagara High School from July 21-24.
Participants will receive a camp T-shirt, basketball, and personalized instruction from Angeli and a team of skilled coaches, focusing on essential skills to improve their overall game, confidence level, and attitude.
“Our goal since starting this camp in 1984 is to help players of all ages and ability levels to develop their skills while cultivating a love for the game,” said Angeli. “We are excited to return to the U.P. and northeast Wisconsin and to partner with Niagara High School and Iron Mountain Middle School this summer to create an unforgettable basketball experience for every participant.”
In addition to on-court training, attendees will also be given the opportunity to win several awards for shooting, team championships and best attitudes. The camp concludes each week with the always popular Camp of Champs Highlight Video.
Registration is now open. Interested participants are encouraged to secure their spot early, as space will become limited. Last summer’s camp attracted over 200 campers to Norway High School.
