HERMANSVILLE ­– The 86th Gold Medal Classic independent basketball tournament at the Frank Rodman Community Club in Hermansville will take place from April 1 through April 13.

Tournament director Bryan Maule reports that 65-plus teams have entered so far, with the entry deadline March 28.

The tournament will offer Classes A, B, C, D, EE, E and 35 and over.

A double-elimination Women’s division and Junior High divisions for both boys and girls will again be on the docket for this year’s tournament. However, those classes are already filled.

Classes A and B are double-elimination format, and are also full.

Class B and the Junior High divisions will take place April 4-6, while Class A and the Women’s division will be held April 11-13.

Classes C, D, EE, E and the 35 and over division will take place throughout the entirety of the tournament.

High school seniors who graduate in 2025 are eligible to participate.
