HARRIS — All season long, it was apparent that Norway girls varsity basketball junior Lauren Adams was a step ahead of the competition on the hardwood.
On Monday, the Skyline Central Conference coaches met up at the Island Resort and Casino and agreed with that sentiment, naming Adams the SCC’s Player of the Year.
North Dickinson finished tied for the best overall conference record at 8-1 with Munising.
As a result, Nordics head coach Kirk Mattson took home 2024-25 Coach of the Year honors.
North Dickinson senior Jessica Harwath received the Skyline Central’s Individual Sportsmanship award.
Nordics freshman Lauren Jungwirth was named to the SCC first team alongside Forest Park junior Elsie Williams.
North Dickinson had two players named to the SCC second team, freshman Alyson Steinbrecher and junior Raina Ledzian. North Central junior Dalyn Otradovec also received second team honors.
Forest Park freshmen Audrey Williams and Aubrey Waara-Shamion were both named to the SCC honorable mention team alongside Norway sophomore Jessa Rossler.
Jungwirth also received a nod on the SCC All-Defensive team alongside Ledzian, Elsie Williams and Norway senior Abby Richter.
