Norway advances to state, takes 2nd at Regionals

The Norway High School varsity competitive cheer team took second place at Division 4 MHSAA Regional competition Saturday in Grand Rapids, Mich. to advance to state finals. NHS girls finished the three rounds with a total of 706.26 just five points shy of first place winners Grand Rapids NorthPointe Christian, with a total 711.9. State competition takes place at 2 p.m. Eastern Friday at McGuirk Arena at Central Michigan University in Mount Pleasant, Mich.
