MOUNT PLEASANT — Norway High School baseball coach Tony Adams recently was presented with his 2024 Coach of the Year award at the Michigan High School Baseball Coaches Association Clinic in Mount Pleasant.

The presentation was made Jan. 10 at Soaring Eagle Casino.

Adams led the Knights to a MHSAA Division 4 finals appearance this past season while guiding the team to a 28-4-1 record.

During his two stints as head coach at Norway he has compiled a record of 181 wins against 78 losses.

The Knights have won nine district titles and three regional titles under his leadership.

Adams has also been instrumental in promoting baseball across the Upper Peninsula, playing a role in establishing the Upper Peninsula Baseball Coaches Association.

He is also planning a U.P. All-Star game to be played in the spring.
