CHESTERTOWN, Md. — Norway graduate Alex Ortman and the Gallaudet University tipped off its 2024-25 men’s basketball team kicked off its season on Tuesday at the Cain Athletic Center against Washington College.

The Bison couldn’t keep pace with Washington College and lost 65-44.

In 15 minutes of play, Ortman scored seven points. He also tallied six rebounds, a block and an assist.

Gallaudet faced off with Hood College on Friday in Frederick, Maryland. The Bison are back on the road on Monday as they head to Prince Anne, Maryland to face the University of Maryland Eastern Shore at 7 p.m. EST.
