Forest Park advanced today to the MHSAA 8-player Division 2 state championship game by downing Onekama 49-24 at Dick Mettlach Field in Crystal Falls.

The Trojans (11-1) will face Morrice, which defeated Britton-Deerfield 36-0, at 2 p.m. Eastern time Nov. 23 in the Superior Dome at Northern Michigan University in Marquette.

Iron Mountain, meanwhile, fell for a third time in four seasons to Beal City, 14-7, in the Division 8 regional playoffs at Mountaineer Stadium in Iron Mountain.

The Mountaineers end their season at 11-1.
