Bouquet: As president of the Dickinson County Cancer Unit Loan Closet, I would like to express our sincere thanks for the unprecedented amount of donations we received in 2022. Our local communities have made such a difference in the lives of so many.

In a year that has brought us all higher inflation and less “bang for our buck,” our organization saw an amazing outpouring of generosity. We were blessed with many fundraisers, events, school, civic, church, personal, memorial and honorary donations. As a result of such a blessing, we in turn were able to give back a little extra at Christmas to our cancer clients who are currently utilizing our financial aid services. This may be only a one-time gift, but time and finances will tell.

Meanwhile, we at the Dickinson County Cancer Unit Loan Closet wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and a healthy 2023. Thank you for being the “gift that keeps on giving.”
