Guidelines for election letters
The Daily News will print letters related to the Nov. 5 general elections through Thursday, Oct. 31, with submissions due no later than 4 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 30.
Letters should be no more than 250 words, preferably sent by email. To ensure all can have their say, new letter-writers will take priority over those whose election views already have been published if space becomes tight.
Letters must be signed with a single name and include address and telephone number where the person can be reached in case of questions about content.
The Daily News reserves the right to reject letters if the facts are in error or cannot be verified. Personal attacks will not be printed.
