Robert P. Ohlson

He was born on Aug. 14, 1950 in Daggett, son of the late Howard and Cecelia (Charlier) Ohlson. On Sept. 27, 1969, he married the former Cynthia Bray in Spalding.

Bob will be remembered as a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, and just a great friend to anyone who knew him.

Bob is survived by his daughter, Nicole (Tim) Oja; a grandson, Matthew Oja; as well as many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife and a son, Robert “Rob” “Oly” J. Ohlson.

Friends may call from 11 a.m. to noon on Thursday, May 1, at the Allo Coolman Funeral Home, W3755 U.S. 2, Spalding, MI 49886. A funeral to celebrate the life of Robert Ohlson will be held at noon on Thursday at the funeral home with Fr. Rick Courier officiating.

Burial will follow services in the Spalding Township Cemetery.
