Laurie A. Tomazevic

Born August 21, 1961, in Waukesha, Wis. she was the daughter of the late Francis and Lorraine (Carrier) Tomazevic. She graduated from Brookfield Central High in 1979.

Laurie’s life was defined by quiet strength, deep love, and a heart for serving others. Her greatest pride was raising her identical twin sons, Andrew and Austin, as a devoted single mother. They were her purpose, her joy, and the center of her world.

Laurie worked for the Michigan State University Extension Office before building a 25+ year career with Kohl’s. Known for her hard work and kindness, she touched the lives of many through her service and unwavering presence.

She is survived by her sons, Andrew (Trisha) Weaver and Austin Weaver; grandchildren, Tanner, Maverick, and Brody; siblings, Robert, Gary (Shelley), and Cindy Tomazevic; and nephew, Joey.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Mike.
