William G. Juneau Jr.
IRON MOUNTAIN — William G. “Bill” Juneau Jr., 80, of Iron Mountain, passed away on Friday, March 14, 2025 at Dimensions Living in Appleton, Wis.
Bill was born May 11, 1944, in Midland, Mich., son of the late William Sr. and Irene (Matza) Juneau. He graduated from Kingsford High School in 1962 and enlisted in the United States Coast Guard where he served for four years.
Bill married Marcia Croci on Nov. 1, 1980, at Holy Trinity Episcopal Church in Iron Mountain. She preceded him in death on Aug. 16, 2023.
Bill worked as a heavy equipment operator for Bacco Construction for 25 years, retiring in 2009.
He enjoyed snowmobile racing and fishing, especially Great Lakes salmon fishing.
He is survived by a brother, John “Jack” (Leon Steinbrecher) Juneau; a sister-in-law, Pam (Ed) St. Arnauld of Iron Mountain; a brother-in-law, Robert (Wendy) Croci of Florida; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents and wife, Marcia, he was also preceded in death by a sister, Karen Juneau; and two brothers, Albert “Bert” and Joseph Juneau.
Private family services will be held. Burial will be in Iron Mountain Cemetery Park.
