Cristy Skogman- Nelson

Cristy was born in Iron Mountain, to Howard and Nancy (Depas) Skogman. She grew up in Escanaba where she started her family after school.

She eventually moved back to Iron Mountain where she did everything from studying to become an E.M.T to being part owner of the Little Buckhorn Bar and Grill. Cristy spent the last years of her life living in North Dakota with her life partner Kimball Nelson. Cristy was an avid crocheter. She loved arts and crafts and her cats.

Along with her life partner, Cristy is survived by her siblings, Scott Skogman, Robert Skogman and Deanna (Michael) Martin; her children, Brandon Starnes, Marc Starnes, Nicole (Jeremy) Roe and Kevin Campbell; her grandchildren, Krystal (Davaun) Barton, Bradley (Jessi) Wadeen, Shelby Starnes and Alexis Roe; two great-grandchildren and many loved nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life will happen at a later date.
