KINGSFORD — Mary Ann Wyble, 66, of Kingsford, passed away Sunday, Feb. 2, 2025, at Marshfield Medical Center- Dickinson, following a brief illness.

Mary Ann was born on July 8, 1958, in Iron Mountain, daughter of the late Alfred and Kathleen (Quagliotti) Schinderle.

She was a lifelong resident of the area, graduating from Kingsford High School in 1976. She worked in banking for a short time before accepting a human resources position at Nelson Paint. She spent 43 years there before her retirement.

On Dec. 29, 1998, Mary Ann married Aaron Wyble in Iron Mountain and the two shared nearly 30 years together until his death in 2013. Mary Ann loved spending time with Aaron, especially at camp and out in nature. They had several special pets over the years, including beloved dogs Freckles, Angel, Daisy, Frankie, and most recently, Ramona. She also liked to play cards with friends and was part of a bowling league in her younger years. She was a member of St. Mary Queen of Peace church in Kingsford.

She is lovingly survived by her siblings, Kay Votaw and David Johnson, both of Kingsford; stepson; Adam Wyble of Florida; nieces, Laine Gallegos of Montana and Kristen Strikland of Texas; special friends, Cheryl, Cindy, Alison, Heidi, Darrell and her whole Nelson Paint family; as well as several other extended family members and friends too numerous to mention all by name.

In addition to both of her parents, and husband, Aaron, Mary Ann was preceded in death by her brother-in-law, Teddy Votaw.

Mary Ann’s family would like to extend a very special note of appreciation to all of her neighbors and friends, and especially the staff at UP Health System-Marquette and Marshfield Medical Center-Dickinson for all of their kindness, care and support over the last few weeks. It won’t be forgotten.

Mary Ann was a very compassionate person to people and animals, their needs were always put above her own. Memorial contributions may be made in Mary Ann’s name to: Almost Home Animal Shelter, 560 Lincoln Ave., Quinnesec, MI 49876.
