Ester Landrito Liss

Ester was born on March 3, 1964, in Pandacan, Manilla, Philippines to Roberto “Jerry” Medrano Encinas and Erlinda Espiritu Landrito Donoho.

At the age of 12, she and her siblings moved to the United States. She attended school in Coloma, Mich. Ester lived life for work, her children and grandchildren. She spent many years working in the manufacturing industry and was well known for her love of food and cooking.

She is survived by her parents, Samuel Donoho and Erlinda Donoho; sisters, Edie Quick and Jess (Ray) Donoho Anderson; children, Erlinda (Rick) Reynolds, Michelle (Aaron) Bell, David Morin, and Trevor Liss; grandchildren, Mila, Alaina, Karmia, Ricky, Lily, Braelen, Ryker, and Aiden; and dear friends, Christopher Bottomlee, Cheryl (Dave) Morin, and Ruth Reynolds.

She is also survived by many nieces and nephews as well as many family members in the USA and Philippines.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Gary J. Liss; brother, Eduardo L. Encinas; biological father, Roberto Encinas and maternal grandparents, Pedro M. Landrito and Rosalia Q. Landrito.

The family would like to thank the team at Fresenius Kidney Care in Iron Mountain, for all of the laughter, love and support they shared with Ester.

Private family services will be held in her memory.
