Lynn Testolin
1956-2025
IRON MOUNTAIN — Lynn Marie Testolin, 68, of Iron Mountain, passed away on Friday, Jan. 3, 2025, after a courageous battle with cancer. She was surrounded by her loving family at home as she left this world to join her beloved husband, Terry.
Born on Oct. 14, 1956, in Garden City, Mich., daughter of Ralph and Maria (Tschirret) Schulz. Lynn spent her life caring for others. She graduated from Garden City East High School in 1974 and earned her associate degree from Bay de Noc Community College in Escanaba.
Lynn began her career as a nurse’s aide. Through dedication and hard work, she advanced to become an LPN, then RN, and eventually managed the Obstetrics Department at Dickinson Memorial Hospital, where she served her community for over 30 years.
In 1989, Lynn married Terry Testolin in Niagara, Wis., beginning a beautiful partnership. They shared dreams and plans that were tragically cut short but will undoubtedly be fulfilled together in eternity.
Lynn and her husband Terry spent as much time as they could camping and hunting for agates on the shores of Lake Superior. She also enjoyed quilting, sewing, crafts, and swimming. Known for her sharp wit and playful sarcasm, she had a sense of humor that could light up any conversation and kept those around her smiling. Beneath her boldness was a deeply caring and compassionate soul who left an unforgettable mark on everyone she met.
Lynn is survived by her daughters, Allison (Kevin) Michel and Claire Testolin; sisters, Kim Nowosad, Laurie Schulz Lambert; cherished grandchildren, Harrison Michel, Valerie Michel; brother-laws, Ted (JoAnn) Testolin, Tom (Lynn A.) Testolin.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Terry; grandchildren, Ivy and Eden Michel; and her senior dog, Stewart.
Lynn’s family and friends will forever remember her warmth, strength, and unwavering love.
