BREITUNG TOWNSHIP — Tracy Amber VanDusen, 38, of Breitung Township passed away on Tuesday, Dec. 10, 2024.

Tracy was born June 22, 1986, in Iron Mountain, daughter of Russel Garrett and Michele (Moyer) Romitti. She graduated from Kingsford High School in 2004 and later, as a working wife and mother, graduated from Bay College. Tracy worked at Systems Control as an engineer assistant.

From a very young age, Tracy had a love for all animals and never went without a pet of all kinds. A compassionate, caring and wonderful person, she always took care of everyone, putting others before herself. She even helped out at the schools, effortlessly, while working full time. She was loyal to everyone and loved her family and friends. Her kids were her life, and it was most important to attend all her children’s many activities. Tracy was also devoted to her faith.

She is survived by her husband, Curtis; her children, Maddex Smith, Eli Smith, Gabriella VanDusen and Vivian VanDusen; her mother, Michele Romitti; her father, Russ (Val) Garrett; her brother, Ryan Garrett; mother-in-law, Karen (Denny) Scelonge; father-in-law, Gary (Darlene) VanDusen; brother-in-law, Kevin Nora; sister-in-law, Kerry (Nora) Janquart; niece, Kalei Rittenhouse; special friends, Tara (Craig) Honkanen, Katie Burby and Ryan (Beth) Sanders; aunt, Tina Moyer; cousins, Dan (Katie) Moyer and Cheyenne Moyer; and stepbrothers, Ryan Cousineau, Matt Cousineau, and Mike Cousineau.

Tracy is preceded in death by her grandparents, Karen Hoes and Raymond and Audrey Garrett; two uncles, Dan Moyer and Bob Garrett; and an aunt, Pat Christensen.

Visitation will be held from noon to 2 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 20 at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church in Kingsford. A memorial service will follow at 2 p.m. at the church. Rev. Matthew Ruesch will officiate. Burial will be in Iron Mountain Cemetery Park in the spring.
