Timothy Faull
1949-2024
NORWAY — Timothy Joseph Faull, 75 of Norway, died Wednesday, Nov. 27, 2024, at his home.
He was born on June 15, 1949, in Norway, son of the late Kenneth and Dorothy (Ray) Faull.
Timothy graduated from Norway High School in 1968. After high school he served his country in the U.S. Army with an honorable discharge.
Timothy was a member of the U.P. Plumbers & Pipefitters Local 111 of Escanaba, for 40 years, retiring on July 1, 2009. During his time as a union member, he was elected to serve as a delegate twice and also served on the union board.
He was a lifelong volunteer fire fighter for the Norway Fire Department for 45 years and also served the DNR for 29 years of outstanding service as a Keyman for the forestry division. He was also member of the Hall-DeWinter American Legion Post 145 for 23 years.
Timothy enjoyed spending his time: hunting, ice fishing, cutting the grass, and to those who knew him best, enjoyed weed eating the lawn, and playing cards. One of his greatest enjoyments of life was the sport of racing, from racing cars and go karts himself, to being on multiple pit crews lending a helping hand where ever it was needed.
One special crew in particular was being part of his dearest race friend Mike Kelly. He also spent much of his time helping out and supporting his two nephews Toby and Kris Kelly. Tim was an avid watcher and spent time traveling to attend many races.
His biggest pride and joy of his life was watching his grandson, Cameron, behind the wheel racing. Many years, many miles, many laps, and endless memories, he loved every moment of it. Now he can fly high with that checkered flag.
Timothy loved his family, friends, and especially his schnauzers Abby, Hailey, and Lexi, who captured his heart and will be eagerly waiting at the rainbow bridge. He was a dog lover and enjoyed caring for his grand dog.
Timothy is survived by his wife of 49 years, Sandy; daughter Michelle and son-in-law Eric Forstrom; grandson, Cameron Clifford; brother, Sam (Wanda) Faull; sisters-in-law, Debra (Larry) Janssen, and Karin Richards; many special nieces, nephews, and special friends.
He was preceded in death by both of his parents; brother, Kenny Faull; twin brother, Terry Faull; and sister, Kathy Rochon.
Timothy, also known around town as “Pimps” held a special place in the lives of many. He leaves us with his famous words, “I’ll see ya when I see ya!!! “And of course his unforgettable dance moves.
The family will host a celebration of life gathering on Saturday, Dec. 21 at 3 p.m. in the John Degenaer Jr. building at the Dickinson County Fairgrounds.
