Rodney ‘Bucky’ Charette

Rodney was born April 29, 1960, in Iron Mountain, son of the late Donald “Buck” and Nancy (Poupore) Charette.

He married Kathy Ouradnik on Aug. 5, 1995, and was employed by Peninsula Beverage as warehouse manager and L.R. Vincent. Bucky loved spending time with his family and friends, and his dog, Tobee.

Rodney is survived by his wife, Kathy; his mother, Nancy; his brother, John; his dog, Tobee; his in-laws, Sharon Tappy, Lyn (Brian) Smith, Terry (Peggy) Ouradnik and Jim (Lynette) Ouradnik; a special friend, Randy Gendron; and many uncles, aunts, nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Donald Sr.; a brother, Donald Jr.; his grandparents, George and Phyllis Poupore and Tom and Sally Charette; two uncles, Jim and Charles Poupore; his dog, Shorty; and fathers-in-law Jim Ouradnik and James Tappy.

In honor of Bucky’s wishes, there will be no services, but a Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, Nov. 10, from 1 to 4 p.m. at Bob & Gerry’s Bar in Kingsford.
