Richard Robinson Jr.

WAUCEDAH — Richard D. Robinson Jr. “Stuby,” 68, of Waucedah, died Thursday, Feb. 1, 2024, at Marshfield Medical Center – Dickinson in Iron Mountain.

He was born on Nov. 28, 1955, in Norway, the son of the late Richard and Helen (VerMeulen) Robinson.

Stuby graduated from Norway High School in 1973.

He married Linda Lake on Feb. 6, 1987, in Iron Mountain.

Stuby started working for his father Dicky at Robinson Plumbing and Heating right after high school and took over ownership with his brother after Dicky retired.

He is survived by his wife, Linda; daughters, Nicole (Cory) Groeneveld of Waucedah and Traci (Robert) Pasowicz of Iron Mountain; grandchildren, Shane (Lily Becker) Groeneveld, Sage (Wyatt Richter) Groeneveld, McKenzie Taylor, Logan and Lucas Pasowicz; brother, David (Anna) Robinson of Norway and James (Martha) Robinson of Loretto; sisters, Kathy Zahn of Hermansville, Lynda (Terry) Johnson of Waucedah, and Lisa (Peter) Schultz of Loretto; mother-in-law, Beverly Lake of Niagara; brother-in-law, Jerry Lake; sisters-in-law, Lisa (Buzz) Berdinner, Lisa Lake, Sandra (Don) Powalka and Rose Marie Scott; and many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Rick was preceded in death by his father-in-law, Frank Lake; and brothers-in-law, John Zahn Jr., Frank Lake and Jeff Scott.

Graveside services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 9, at the Norway Township Cemetery.
