Kathleen ‘Kathi’ Engelman
WESTTOWN, N.Y. — Kathleen “Kathi” Marie Engelman, of Westtown, passed away peacefully on Sept. 18, 2023, at the age of 61 after a courageous two-year battle with cancer. From the start of her battle until the very end, her family was by her side. She was never alone in her fight.
Kathi was born on Aug. 25, 1962, in Burbank, Calif., and for several years happily resided in Westtown, where she and David made the East Coast their home. Her perfect day started out by sipping coffee in the morning and FaceTiming with all of her children together for everyone to connect before the day began. Family was what she cherished most.
Kathi is survived by the love of her life of over 38 years, her husband David; her three children, Jacob “Pumpkinhead” (Emily) Engelman, Alyssa “Tink” (Brendan) Scully and Andrea “Shorty” Engelman; two beautiful grandchildren, Leopold and Luna Engelman; her brother, David (Joyce) Smith; her mother, Agatha Smith; and her favorite fluffy pup, Indy.
She is preceded in death by her father, Donnie Smith.
