Dennis Earl Barnard, 7-23-1940-4-28-2022, was a wise and honest man. He lived a life he chose, surrounded by nature in Aurora, Wis. He taught his children to seek wisdom; a Shared his hard-earned wisdom freely. He remained curious and insightful until the end.
He was taken too soon on April 28, 2022, due to untreated and undiagnosed brain condition.
Extremely thoughtful and empathetic, he taught his children to understand the human condition, human history and human behavior.
Always helpful but not easily fooled, he held his cards close to the vest when necessary to protect those he provided for.
He is survived by three children; four grandchildren; and two spouses.

You taught me to understand and rise above, to seek knowledge, remain strong and peaceful, always ask questions and to be honest. At the very end, as promised, I helped you to understand your condition and to navigate the inevitable mortal fear.
We still miss you every day, Dad, you are in our hearts and minds always. Thank you for your wisdom, insights and honesty. Perhaps we’ll meet again, my friend. God bless you.
