Jeanette M. Kazianka

She was born in Iron Mountain on Aug. 26, 1946, the seventh daughter of the late Wallace and Evelyn (Winters) Gustafson. She graduated from Kingsford High School in 1965.

She married Jerry Kazianka in January 1967 at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Iron Mountain and lived in the area, as well as a few years living in Foster City in a log home they built themselves. Jan. 21, 2023, would have been their 56th wedding anniversary.

Jeanette was a homemaker and very much enjoyed cooking and baking, especially around the holidays. She also enjoyed crocheting and spending time at her daughter’s farm.

She is survived by her husband, Jerry; son, Kevin (Connie) Kazianka; daughter, Jodi (Trinity) Bjorkman; daughter-in-law; Robyn (Keith) Kazianka; sisters, Ruth (Jerry) LaVigne, Lorraine (Don) Brockington, Alice (Jerry) Kirby; brother, Glen (Carol) Gustafson; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by both parents, Wallace and Evelyn (Winters) Gustafson; sisters, Marlene (Jim) Uhazie, Marion Gustafson, LaVern (Robert) Servia; and son, Keith (Robyn) Kazianka.

She also leaves behind many special friends at Hulst Manor.

There will be a private service at a later date.
