JOHN ST. JULIANA
IRON MOUNTAIN — John “Fox” Ernest St. Juliana, 80, of Hermansville, passed away Thursday, April 6, 2017, at the Oscar G. Johnson VA Medical Center in Iron Mountain.
John was born in Hermansville on July 29, 1936, to John Oreste and Ida (Malone) St. Juliana. He was a 1954 graduate of Hermansville High School. John was proud to have served in the U.S. Marines and worked as a railroad laborer.
He married Donna Bottesi on June 29, 1963, at St. Stephen Catholic Church in Loretto. He and Donna shared 53 three wonderful years of married life together.
John was a longtime member of St. John Neumann Parish in Hermansville where he was always inspired to live out his Catholic faith.
He was a longtime heart transplant survivor, having his transplant in 1988. He loved the outdoor life the area has to offer and spent his time outside hunting deer, gardening, and trout fishing. He was also a longtime member of the U.P. District 3 Trapper’s Association.
He enjoyed Packer games, was a big fan of the North Central Jets, and loved attending football games with his great friend, “Wheels”. Of all the things he loved, his family took first place. He loved his wife, his daughter, Gina, and had a special place in his heart for his three grandchildren.
