KINGSFORD — Sue Meleski, 59, of Kingsford, passed away unexpectedly Friday, March 24, 2017, at the University of Wisconsin-Madison Hospital surrounded by her family.
She was the daughter of the late Vernon and Mary Lou (Oliver) Buckland.
Sue graduated from Gladstone High School in 1976.
On June 6, 2002, she married Todd Meleski in Iron Mountain.
For more than 40 years, Sue was an avid pool player, winning multiple trophies and awards.
She also enjoyed gardening, hanging out with the “PTA,” and loved her animals.
Sue was employed by Dickinson Homes for 30 years.
She is survived by her loving husband, Todd; two daughters, Megan (Eric DeClark) and Shelby (Mandy Bianco); one brother, Vernon “Buck” (Lisa) Buckland of Bokeelia, Fla.; and one niece, Valerie (Adam) Waugaman of Fayetteville, N.C.
Sue will be greatly missed by a countless number of friends. Her beautiful smile and loving soul will be remembered by everyone who knew her!
A celebration of Sue’s life will take place on Saturday, May 13, at 2 p.m. at the C & R Bar in Aurora, Wis.
