Robin E. Lindholm
KINGSFORD — Robin E. Lindholm, 61, of Kingsford, passed away on Tuesday, Dec. 13, 2016, at Freeman Nursing and Rehabilitation Community in Kingsford.
Robin was born Feb. 16, 1955, in Lansing, daughter of the late Donald “Pete” and Shirley (Anderson) Chartier. She graduated from Kingsford High School in 1973, and was a lifelong resident of the area.
Robin married Leonard Lindholm on June 30, 1985, in Iron Mountain. She loved needlework and was an avid quilter, making many quilts for family and friends. Robin enjoyed bowling, cooking, gardening, and interior design. She was proud to give hope and inspiration to women as a 15-year breast cancer survivor. Robin loved nothing more than spending time with her family.
She is survived by her husband of 31 years, Len; three daughters, Jamie “Punky” Lundholm (Adam Janssen) of Iron Mountain (son-in-law, Rich Lundholm), Anna “Sissy” Vicenzi (Toby Kelly) of Norway and Jody “JoJo” Dickerson of Iron Mountain; a son, Brian (Sandy) Lindholm of Iron Mountain; a brother, Pat (Brenda) Chartier of Quinnesec; grandchildren, Brandon and Payton Lindholm, Bailey, Reagan and Jackson Lundholm, Zachary, Jaden, Adrian, Bella and Charleigh, Devon and Gavin Dickerson, Ryan (Jen) Nelson and Kristi Nelson (Nate); a great-grandson, Lucas Perry; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Robin was preceded in death by a son, Donald Chartier; two brothers, Randy and Rodney Chartier; a step-daughter, Linda Nelson; and her dog, Popcorn.
Visitation will be held on Saturday from 4 p.m. until 6 p.m. at the Erickson-Rochon & Nash Funeral Home in Iron Mountain.
A funeral service will follow at 6 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home. Rev. Lee Liverance will officiate.
Burial will be in the Quinnesec Cemetery.
