IRON MOUNTAIN — Dickinson County Sheriff Aaron Rochon has issued his monthly report for February.

The road patrol served 172 civil process papers, investigated 148 complaints, handled 22 accidents, issued 62 citations and 258 verbal warnings, made 21 arrests — five of which were for outstanding warrants and seven of which were felonies — and completed 294 property checks.

Deputies made nine transports — one prison, five mental health and three miscellaneous. The K-9 officer was involved in three searches, including two for other agencies.

The correctional center had 72 bookings, with an average daily booking of 2.5 and an average daily population of 47.8.

The dispatch center handled 553 911 calls, 3,245 non-911 calls, 1,595 calls for law enforcement service, 537 calls for ambulance service, and 48 calls for fire service.

Twenty-five individuals assigned to the sheriff’s work van logged 900 hours at the sheriff’s office/courthouse, Feeding America food distribution, Salvation Army, Pine Mountain ski jump, Habitat for Humanity Restore warehouse, and assisting local food pickups.
