NMU president finalist to head Montana State

MARQUETTE — Northern Michigan University President Brock Tessman is among two finalists in a national search for the president of Montana State University.
The university in Bozeman, Montana, announced the two finalists last week to succeed MSU President Waded Cruzado, naming current University of California, Merced, Vice Chancellor for Planning and Budget Kurt Schnier and Tessman.
Both candidates plan to visit the campus for tours and interviews, as well as individual community forums. Schnier will visit the MSU campus today and Wednesday, while Tessman will be there Thursday and Friday.
