IMHS chooses nominees for UP Sports Hall of Fame Scholarship

IRON MOUNTAIN — Iron Mountain High School has announced its nominees for the U.P Sports Hall of Fame Scholarship.
Isabella Pickett is the daughter of Mike and Stacey Pickett of Iron Mountain. She is an outstanding athlete who has earned high honor marks for her entire high school career. She plans to pursue a degree in nursing.
Benjamin Truong is the son of Michael Truong of Iron Mountain and Mimi Bachicki of Iron Mountain. He is an excellent student athlete who has earned high honor marks throughout high school. He plans to pursue a pre-med degree.
Each school in the U.P. nominates a female and male student athlete who have at least a 3.5 cumulative grade-point average and have received at least four varsity letters in two different sports. Nominees compete with other students across the U.P for a chance to win a $1,000 scholarship.
