IRON MOUNTAIN — Snow is in the forecast for Saturday, though the brunt of it is expected to fall to the south.

The National Weather Service calls for an inch of snow beginning Saturday afternoon in the Iron Mountain area and up to 4 to 7 inches in Wisconsin’s Fox Valley area.

AccuWeather is predicting higher snow totals — possibly 3 inches or more locally and 6 to 12 inches along the storm’s central Wisconsin path.

A high near 22 degrees is expected locally Saturday, with an overnight low of about 7.

Sunday should be mostly sunny with a high near 20 and a low around zero.
