Robotics team receives mini-grant

The Iron Area Health Foundation has awarded a mini-grant in the amount of $500 to the West Iron County Robotics Booster Club. The grant will be used to support healthy and nutritious meals and snacks for the robotics team, the AutoMatons, as they begin their travel to their qualifying competitions in Escanaba and Sault Ste. Marie and the state championship tournament in Saginaw. The AutoMaton Robotics Team has been meeting five to six days per week to build their competition ready-robot since the Robotics Kickoff on Jan. 4.
