KINGSFORD — Emma Strom, a Kingsford High School sophomore, has been selected to attend the 2025 Wisconsin Leadership Summit taking place June 13-15 at Carroll University in Waukesha, Wis.

The WI Leadership Summit is a high-energy seminar that consists of team-building activities, motivational speakers, volunteer service, panels of key leaders from various industries, workshops, self reflection, small group discussions, a talent show, and more.

The program encourages leadership development through emphasis on four pillars of personal responsibility, service, inclusiveness, and decision making.

Strom is the daughter of Thad and Renee Strom of Iron Mountain. Her leadership qualities enhance the many other attributes that she displays as a student at KHS.

She actively participates in Key Club, YAC (Youth Advisory Coalition), French Club, KHS Academic Booster Club, and is the founder of Senior Crafting Connections.

She is active in KHS volleyball, swim, and track and field. In addition to her school and community involvement Strom excels in the classroom maintaining over a 3.9 GPA while taking advanced placement and dual enrollment courses.

Her kind and dedicated personality made her selection to the WI Leadership Summit an easy one, school officials said.
