IRON MOUNTAIN — With the U.S. Postal Service shut down for the national day of mourning in honor of President Jimmy Carter, The Daily News will not publish a print version of the newspaper Thursday due to no mail delivery.

Thursday’s comics, puzzles, games and horoscopes will be included in the Wednesday edition.

The Daily News also will have a digital version of Thursday’s newspaper that subscribers can view on its website at www.ironmountaindailynews.com.

The Daily News offices will be open Thursday.

Friday’s edition will be published as usual.
