Forest Park plans kindergarten, Great Start Readiness Program

CRYSTAL FALLS — Forest Park Schools will host registration for students entering kindergarten and the Great Start Readiness Program during the upcoming 2025-2026 school year on Feb. 18, 19, and 20.

Parents may come to the elementary office to register their child. Registration times are 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and 2 to 3:30 p.m.

On Wednesday, Feb. 19, they will have extended registration and an open house from 4 to 5 p.m. or 5 to 6 p.m. — two, one-hour sessions to choose from.

To enroll in the GSRP, a child must be four-years-old and to enter kindergarten, a child must be five-years-old by Sept. 1, 2025.

Kindergarten registration requires:

— Official birth certificate;

— Immunization record;

— Hearing and vision screening ;

— Oral screening.

Parents registering a student in the GSRP will be given an enrollment packet to complete. A child is not officially enrolled until the completed packet is returned.
