IRON MOUNTAIN — In celebration of its 100th anniversary, The Braumart of Iron Mountain for the first time will offer season passes.

“We have been trying since 2016 but just wasn’t able to get it off the ground due to not being able to book a full season in time,” The Braumart Executive Director Jinx Brew said, adding last year they made the push to make it happen.

The early sales will give them the money base needed to be able to continue to book future events, she said.

“It will just help with cash flow and keep us moving forward,” she explained. “We know other theaters have become more successful after they established its season passes.”

The Braumart currently has 10 regular performances scheduled for the 2025 season, which runs from April through November. Patrons will be able to choose from a four- or eight-ticket package, Brew said.

Passes purchased before Jan. 30 will be sold for $216 for eight tickets and $108 for four tickets. Orders by Feb. 26 will be $232 and $116.

Individual ticket prices for each show will be $32 in advance or $35 at the box office.

“Everything has gone up — we need to adjust prices to be able to keep going,” Brew said. “That’s another benefit to purchase early ticket packages, as they will receive a 17- to 22-percent discount.”

The Braumart has brought back its most-requested shows, as well as added a few new ones to the mix.

The Pink Floyd Tribute “In The Flesh,” kicks off the theater season April 12.

“They are really popular — we knew they needed to be included,” she said.

On May 16, Anthony Shore brings his True Elvis Review to the stage.

“They have added a horn section and backup singers — it’s a whole Vegas-style show,” Brew said.

June will feature Harmonious Wail, an Americana-infused gypsy jazz group, and Salsa Manzana of the Fox Valley in Wisconsin.

The famous Glenn Miller Orchestra will return July 31, followed by ragtime pianist Bob Milne on Aug. 1.

“Sixtiesmania” will bring all the best music of the ’60s to Iron Mountain on Aug. 16.

The fundraiser concert will be in conjunction with the Gus Macker 3-on-3 Basketball Tournament in Iron Mountain, with proceeds shared with the Imagination Factory Children’s Museum.

On Sept. 20, they welcome new to The Braumart stage Another One, a tribute to the Grateful Dead.

“We had people from the area go see them when they played at the Ironwood Theater and said ‘They were really good,'” Brew said.

Hometown favorite Lindsay Lou will appear in October, with Joe Hertler and the Rainbow Seekers, an alternative/indie Michigan band, set for November.

In the near future, they hope to have more entertainment on the books to announce.

Brew noted that season passes will not include “special events” or “reserved seating” performances.

In celebration of The Braumart’s 100 years, they will also host a special “Black and White Gala” event in the fall.

“Everyone will be encouraged to dress in black and white — from something formal to white T-shirt and black jeans,” she said. “We have had a similar event in the past and it really turned out good.”

The Braumart’s goal for next year will be to have season passes available in November in time for the community to purchase them as Christmas gifts. They will be sold through February, with tickets distributed in March.

“It’s a wonderful opportunity to purchase a unique gift for family or friends, as well as support the arts and The Braumart,” said Tamara Juul, who purchased the first season passes.

Patrons can order passes online at www.thebraumart.org or mail the brochure form to: The Braumart, P.O. Box 156, Iron Mountain, MI 49801. In addition to the box office, brochures will be available at local businesses.

Brew thanked the community for its support over the years and looks forward to celebrating the 100th anniversary with great entertainment during the season.
