IRON MOUNTAIN — Dickinson County Board will have its first regular meeting of 2025 at 6 p.m. Monday in the circuit courtroom of the courthouse.

Agenda items include the proposed appointment of attorney Steven Tinti as civil counsel for the county and its officials; a request from District Court Judge Julie LaCost to fill a vacant civil clerk position; the county’s 2024 annual mine inspection report from Mine Inspector Michael Ghere; a discussion on prayer before the opening of county board meetings; and Michigan State University-Extension’s request for $81,000 in funding for 2025.
