KINGSFORD — Breitung Township Schools Board of Education is seeking candidates to fill an open seat on the board.

Applicants must be registered voters and residents in the Breitung Township School District, which includes the city of Kingsford and Breitung Township and an annexed portion of the city of Iron Mountain.

Submit a letter of interest to serve on the board to David Holmes, superintendent, Breitung Township Schools, 810 Pyle Drive, Kingsford, MI 49802. The deadline for filing a letter is Friday, Jan. 24, at 3 p.m.
