Borderhounds list events the club took part in past 2 years
IRON MOUNTAIN — The Borderhounds Law Enforcement Motorcycle Club, is made up of current and retired law enforcement, current and retired paramedics/EMTs, current and retired firefighters, current military and veterans, and like-minded individuals that have the love of motorcycle riding and want to give back to our community.
Here is the list of what they have done in the community in the last two years, according to member Chuck Lantz:
— Fundraiser for Dickinson County Dive Team.
— Donation to Beecher-Pembine-Dunbar School District for emergency buckets.
— Donations to Patriots softball program for little kids.
— Donations to the Dickinson Area Hockey Association.
— Volunteered to cooking and serve food at Aurora Mud Runs.
— Donations to local fundraisers.
— Help out with the 4th of July parade by blocking off staging area for parade.
— Adopt a family for every Christmas.
— Run raffle for the veterans dinner held at Venue 906.
— Partnered with Ducey’s gun club to donate a backup firearm for the Niagara Police Department.
— Donated toys for a blind child.
— Renovated a veteran home to make it wheelchair accessible.
— Donate to Freedom for Patriots.
— Held fundraiser for fire victims.
— Security for the Kingsford Centennial.
