North Dickinson donates to Toys for Tots

5 days until Christmas

North Dickinson County School’s fifth-grade students again unanimously voted this year to donate to the Toys-For-Tots program rather than exchange gifts in their classrooms. Michigan State Police Trooper Geno Basanese, who is involved in the Toys for Tots program as well as the school, visited the students and “stuffed” his patrol vehicle with gifts for distribution. From left, in the first row are Lilly Steppig, Destiny Denecke, Brooklyn Grenier, Evalynne Becker, Conway Rasmussen, Nathan Mattson, Owen Anderson and Landon Johnson; in the second row are Remington Gagne, Marley Thibault, Alan Brzoznowski, Noah Murray, Wyatt Rittenhouse as Santa, Benjamin Applekamp, Corbin Mattson, David Jones and Zeyden Bermudez; in back are Basanese, MSP Trooper Grace Taylor and fifth-grade teacher Mike Lindholm.
