Niagara survey responses due
NIAGARA, Wis. — More responses are needed to a confidential survey being conducted to determine if the city of Niagara is considered low to moderate income.
In October, each household should have received an income survey in the mail, with a reminder sent in November. The purpose is to determine grant funding eligibility for streets, equipment replacements and sewer and water improvements. This will reducing the burden of costs at the local level, said Audrey Fredrick, city administrator. Many surveys were returned, but the Wisconsin Department of Administration needs approximately 200 more returned to determine eligibility, Fredrick said.
A list of addresses still needing a response is available at Niagara City Hall, along with a copy of the survey. Those who have not returned a survey are asked to please call the office at 715-251-3235-options 1 or 2 — or stop at the office.
“This information is critical to future planning and expenditure needs,” Fredrick said.
The survey, which is based on the family size of the current occupant(s), should take less than 90 seconds to complete.
“Your name and physical address are not noted, a geocode location is on the form for third-party identification purposes,” Fredrick said.
