‘Legends & Lore II’ talk planned Jan. 23 at Kaufman Auditorium
MARQUETTE — The Marquette Regional History Center will present “Legends and Lore II — Even more Legendary” at 7 p.m. Eastern time Thursday, Jan. 23, at Kaufman Auditorium in Marquette.
Jack Deo and Jim Koski will share more stories of amazing individuals and historical quirks from throughout Marquette County’s 170-plus-year history.
From community-defining moments to the people who built the Upper Peninsula to moments that elicit a “I remember that!,” the show will bring to light some forgotten aspects of local history with pictures, facts and a good deal of laughs.
Tickets are on sale now, and they make great gifts. All tickets are general seating this year. The cost is $20 if tickets are bought in advance. Purchase tickets at marquettehistory.org, or in person at the Marquette Regional History Center.
