DDA receives grant
The Dickinson Area Community Foundation recently awarded a $500 Community Impact Grant to the Iron Mountain Downtown Development Authority. The grant was made possible with a match from the Pasahow Family Fund. The DDA plans to purchase additional carts to be used to haul items needed during special events and when the downtown planters are being filled. From left are Lily Villringer, DDA intern; Tamara Juul, DACF director; Katherine Mentel, DDA event coordinator; and Tim McCauley, DDA program coordinator. The DACF’s mission is to enhance and strengthen local communities now and for generations to come. For more information on available grant funding, contact Juul at 906-774-3131 or go online to the website at www.dickinsonareacf.org.
