Two injured in Marinette County house explosion
MARINETTE, Wis. — Two people were injured in an explosion and fire Friday night at a residence on Snyder Road in Wagner, Marinette County Sheriff Randy Miller said.
County deputies and Town of Wagner Fire Department personnel responded to a dispatch at 7:29 p.m. and made contact with two injured males who were both transported for medical treatment, Miller said in a news release.
Multiple fire departments worked to suppress the fire, he said. The explosion remains under investigation and no further information was being released.
Assisting were Wausaukee Fire Department, Grover-Porterfield Fire Department, Mellen Township Fire Department, Menominee-Ingallston Fire Department, Wausaukee Rescue, Aurora Medical Center-Bay Area Paramedics, Town of Lake Fire Department, Middle Inlet Fire Department, Town of Peshtigo Fire Department, Wisconsin Public Service and Guardian Flight from Escanaba.
