Voters in three of four Wisconsin school districts in the region approved operational increases in the general election Tuesday.

Measures were approved in the Florence County, Niagara, and Goodman-Armstrong Creek districts.

A proposal was defeated in the Beecher-Dunbar-Pembine district.

The preliminary results:

School District of Florence County

Authorization to exceed revenue limit by $2.5 million for the 2025-26 school year, $2.8 million for the 2026-27 school year, $3.1 million for the 2027-28 school year and $3.4 million for the 2028-29 school.

Authorization to exceed revenue limit by $600,000 for the 2024-25 school year, $700,000 for the 2025-26 school year, $800,000 for the 2026-27 school year, and $900,000 for the 2027-28 school year.

In a Facebook post, Administrator Lynn Stankevich said the district expects to return to the voters in April. Otherwise, “necessary and somewhat extreme cuts will be required,” Stankevich said.
