The Dickinson Area Community Foundation awarded a $500 Community Impact Grant to the Dickinson County Area Veterans Alliance for a Veterans Day dinner. This grant was partially funded through a match grant from the Pasahow Family Fund. From left are Tamara Juul, director of DACF, presenting the check to Gladys Ethington and Ferrand “Sam” Ethington. The dinner will be held at 6 p.m. Monday at American Legion Post 50 in Iron Mountain. Veterans interested in attending the dinner should call Gladys Ethington at 906-448-9302.
