Forest Park won its first MHSAA 8-player Division 2 state football championship since 2017 on Saturday by defeating Morrice, 42-20, at the Superior Dome in Marquette. The Trojans of Crystal Falls finish with a 12-1 record, with their only loss coming to North Central in their final regular season game; they’d turn the tables on that rival in the second round of the playoffs.
